HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Mourns Pope Francis, Lauds Him as Man of Peace and Humanity
HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, President of the Arab Council for Childhood and Development (ACCD), has issued a statement of condolence on the passing of Pope Francis, head of the Catholic Church.
His Highness described Pope Francis as a "Man of Peace and Humanity," stating that the world lost an exceptional figure who dedicated his life to serving humanity. His Highness highlighted the Pope's consistent advocacy for the vulnerable, his support for truth and justice, and his tireless efforts to spread love, peace, and tolerance through interfaith dialogue and understanding.
In addition, ACCD also released its own statement mourning Pope Francis, acknowledging his fight for humanity and peace, and affirming that his noble stances against war, violence, hatred, and discrimination will be remembered in history. ACCD extended its deepest condolences to the Catholic Church and all those who loved the Pope worldwide.
