ACCD Releases the 51st Issue of "Khatwa" Magazine Featuring a Special Profile on "Children and War"

The Arab Council for Childhood and Development (ACCD) has released the 51st Issue of "Khatwa" Magazine, which includes a special profile on "Children and War." Dr. Hassan Al-Bilawi, Secretary General of ACCD and the General Supervisor of “Khatwa” Magazine, emphasized that this Issue comes at a critical time, with escalating wars and conflicts, particularly in the Arab region and specifically in Gaza and what the Palestinian people are facing. He stressed the world's responsibility to stop the war and spread peace, which would positively impact the future of children.
The "Children and War" profile includes important articles on issues of armed violence and the violation of childhood, how to protect children in times of conflict, and the psychology of children in wars. The Issue also covers various other vital topics, such as marginalized children and child sexual harassment, in addition to reviewing experiences in preparing children to exercise freedom of opinion and expression.
The Issue is enriched with interactive content, including a video activity titled "Make... Play... Learn (Dolls from Plates)," an animated video story called "One Planet," and a poem titled "People of Determination."
ACCD announced that the upcoming 52nd Issue of "Khatwa" Magazine will dedicate a special profile to "Digital Education," and welcomes the publication of articles and experiences in this field.
"Khatwa" is a scientific Magazine published by the ACCD, focusing on early childhood (ages 0-8 years), and aims to disseminate enlightened educational thought and develop positive attitudes towards child upbringing in the Arab countries.
