The Workshop was inaugurated by Professor Hassan Al-Bilawi, Secretary General of ACCD, who emphasized in his opening speech that while digital progress has immersed the world in vast amounts of data and information, there is a profound thirst for knowledge and wisdom in utilizing that information. He urged scientists and experts at research centers to ensure this progress elevates humanity within a framework of enlightenment, humanism, and social justice. He added that ACCD remains committed to its mission of generating and disseminating knowledge to build a new, enlightened conceptual mental framework for the Arab individual, under the slogan "A New Mind in New Arab Societies striving for progress in a world of rapid, knowledge- and technology-driven changes".

The Workshop will continue through September 9-10, aiming to discuss the effects of Artificial Intelligence on the lives of Arab children. Discussions will cover specific issues such as education and upbringing, media, health, and children in the context of global crises, wars, and emerging challenges facing the world.

This Workshop aligns with ACCD's strategic direction to raise awareness and promote the empowerment of Arab children in the era of industrial revolutions, navigating both their opportunities and risks. This is based on an integrated conceptual framework and a new intellectual approach that establishes an organic relationship between children and the Fourth Industrial Revolution within a global consciousness.
