ACTA Organizes "Our Children and Social Media" Virtual Seminar

The Arab Childhood Training Academy (ACTA), affiliated with the Arab Council for Childhood and Development (ACCD), organized a Virtual Seminar titled "Our Children and Social Media" on December 30, 2025. Attended by over 75 participants from across the Arab world, the Seminar addressed the crucial role of social media in children's lives and the imperative to foster a safe and supportive digital environment.

The Seminar highlighted the significant psychological, social, and educational impacts of social media on children, alongside rising concerns about exploitation and privacy violations. Experts underscored the need for digital media literacy to equip children with safe usage techniques and to protect their personal information. Discussions also emphasized the critical role of media in raising awareness and the importance of parental guidance in navigating the digital world.

The Seminar's recommendations centered on leveraging social media as a positive resource for children's learning and development.
