The Arab Council for Childhood and Development (ACCD) organized a Seminar on “Khatwa” Magazine, a publication by ACCD, at the 56th Cairo International Book Fair, on February 4, 2025, at the Children's Pavilion.

The Seminar explored the vision, objectives and the published issues of Khatwa Magazine, which addresses various issues related to the upbringing and rights of Arab children in early childhood. Ms. Eman Bahieldin, Editor-in-Chief of the Magazine and the Director of Childhood Media Department at ACCD, was the speaker. The Seminar was moderated by Dr. Mostafa Ghnaim, Writer and the Coordinator of children's activities at the Cairo International Book Fair.

The Seminar emphasized the stories, activities and games featured in the Magazine for children, particularly those created in animated cartoon formats.
The Seminar drew a large and enthusiastic crowd of children. Children emphasized the importance of the Magazine's publications, citing its valuable content and positive values. They noted its relevance to children and caregivers amid rapid social changes.

Notably, "Khatwa" is a specialized scientific magazine on early childhood, published by the ACCD. With 50 issues published, the Magazine aims to educate and raise awareness among early childhood practitioners and stakeholders. It also promotes enlightened educational approaches and fosters positive attitudes towards the upbringing of Arab children. This is achieved through a rights-based approach that meets the demands of modern society.
