Child Right and Climate Change

Child Rights and Climate Change
(Ongoing Project)

Climate change poses a direct threat to children's ability to survive, grow, and thrive. Although children are the least responsible for climate change, they bear the greatest burden of its effects. Climate change represents a profound crisis in child rights.

Since 2022, the Arab Council for Childhood and Development (ACCD) has been actively engaged in raising awareness and advocating for addressing the impacts of climate change. This work includes organizing awareness campaigns, forums, and workshops to highlight the interconnectedness of climate change, child rights, and sustainability.
