Project Goal:
Improving school readiness and life skills among kindergarten children by upgrading the Early Childhood Development Center (ECD Center) and developing a unique, integrated model that can be replicated across Egypt and other Arab countries.

Partners:

Project Objectives:
- Supporting the institutional capacity of the ECD Center.
- Developing a distinguished model for professional development pre-school (PDPS) centers.
- Improving school readiness and life skills among kindergarten children.

ACCD's early childhood development programs adopt an innovative approach centered on establishing "Professional Development Preschools" (PDPS). A PDPS is a rehabilitated kindergarten designed to provide continuous professional development for itself and a network of connected kindergartens within the same geographical area ("Cluster of Schools"). This model aims to equip children with essential skills and knowledge, foster critical thinking, and develop their creativity in line with 21st-century requirements.
ACCD is actively developing training manuals to build the capabilities of national cadres and implement strategic plans for early childhood development. This work disseminates AGFUND’s pioneering experience in the field of early childhood development, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
A Cooperation Protocol was officially signed on March 12, 2025, in the presence of H.E. Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the Egyptian Prime Minister, and HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the President of ACCD and AGFUND.
